By accessing or using Baloonza, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

Baloonza is a Chrome extension and website that turns reading on real websites into language practice. The service is currently in beta, access is available through a waitlist, and it is free during the beta.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Baloonza. Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Beta terms

Baloonza is free during the beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and learning data may be reset. We do not guarantee that the service or any feature will always be available.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use Baloonza for unlawful purposes;
• reverse engineer the service;
• scrape the service or use it for automated abuse; or
• disrupt or interfere with the service.

Intellectual property

Baloonza owns the service and its branding. You keep ownership of your own content and learning data. You grant Baloonza the limited license needed to use that content and data to operate the service for you.

Third-party websites

The Baloonza extension runs on third-party websites. Their terms and policies apply when you use those websites. Baloonza is not affiliated with or responsible for those websites.

Translations disclaimer

Translations and other language content may contain errors and are provided for personal learning only.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Baloonza is provided “AS IS” and without warranties. We do not promise that the service will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Baloonza is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Baloonza at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or if we stop offering the beta.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as Baloonza changes. The effective date above shows when these Terms were last updated. If you continue to use Baloonza after an update, you agree to the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
